FAQs

1. What are sourdough cookies?

Sourdough cookies are made with sourdough discard—the portion of a sourdough starter removed during regular feeding. A sourdough starter is a culture of flour and water containing naturally occurring yeast and bacteria used in fermentation. When added to cookie dough, the discard contributes subtle acidity, enhances flavor, and creates a soft, chewy texture.

2. Do the cookies taste sour?

No, they don’t taste sour. The sourdough discard enhances the overall flavor, resulting in a balanced cookie with deeper flavor complexity, not a sour taste.

3. Do you offer local pickup?

Not yet—local pickup will be available soon. Stay tuned for updates!

4. Do you sell to businesses?

No. As a cottage food business, we sell directly to customers within the state of Florida.
